Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the online platform that allows us to sell our products.
1. Our products
What They Made creates personalised framed artwork using customers' own drawings, handwriting and notes.
Each personalised frame is created using the material you provide. Because the artwork is made from your own submission, the finished product will be individual to your order.
We make every effort to display our products and colours as accurately as possible. However, the appearance of images may vary slightly depending on your screen and settings.
2. Placing an order
When placing an order, please check that your contact details, delivery address and order selections are correct.
You are responsible for providing a clear image of the drawing, handwriting or notes you want to use, following the instructions provided.
We may contact you if we need further information to complete your order. If we cannot proceed because we have not received the information needed, this may affect the time it takes to complete your order.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance of your purchase. We reserve the right to contact you if an order cannot be fulfilled, for example because of an error or an issue with the information provided.
If we cannot fulfil an order and payment has been taken, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are displayed on our website in pounds sterling (£), unless stated otherwise.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
We reserve the right to update product prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where an obvious pricing error needs to be addressed.
4. Personalised products
Our frames are personalised using the drawings, handwriting or notes supplied by you.
Please ensure that the image you submit is the one you want us to use. We work from the material provided and cannot guarantee a particular result if the image is unclear, poorly lit or difficult to read.
Where we need additional information to complete your order, we will contact you.
Because personalised frames are made specifically for each customer, the usual right to cancel an online order simply because you have changed your mind may not apply. Please read our Refund Policy for further information.
Nothing in these terms removes your legal rights if a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of the law.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales. We do not currently offer delivery to Northern Ireland.
Estimated processing and delivery times are provided as guidance. We will make reasonable efforts to complete and dispatch your order within the stated timeframe, and we will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct when placing your order.
6. Refunds and returns
Our Refund Policy explains how we handle cancellations, returns, refunds and orders that arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect.
Nothing in these Terms of Service or our Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

The content on this website, including text, branding, photographs, graphics and product designs, belongs to What They Made or is used with permission, unless stated otherwise.

You retain ownership of the drawings, handwriting and notes you submit to us. You allow us to use the material you provide only as reasonably necessary to create and fulfil your order and provide customer support.
We will not use your submitted artwork in marketing or promotional material without your permission.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or interfere with the website or its services.
We may update website content, product information or these terms from time to time. Any updated terms will be published on this page.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or for your statutory consumer rights.
