(although, as you can see there's a bit of an age gap!)
I’m the Mum that keeps everything..
All the drawings, the little notes, the random bits of paper that come home in school bags or get handed to you with a “this is for you”. They end up everywhere don’t they! On the fridge, on the side, in a pile you keep meaning to sort.
You can’t throw them away… but you don’t really know what to do with them either.
At some point, you realise they’ve stopped drawing like that.
The funny faces look different, the eyes actually go where the eyes go. The writing changes, gets neater. The little quirks you didn’t think twice about at the time just… go.
And most of it, it's sat in a box somewhere and it will only come out again when they are packing up to move out. That’s the bit that didn’t sit right with me.
I didn’t want those things to just live in a loft, I wanted them out. Seen to be a part of the house but also, not in a way that felt messy or temporary or like it didn’t fit everything else around it.
So that’s where this business came from..
to enable us to keep those moments, but in a way that actually works in your home.
I want people to realise these things matter while they’re still happening.
Not years later when you’re going through a box wondering why you didn’t do more with them.
This is about making space for those little moments right now, so they don’t just disappear into piles, drawers or storage.
Because we all know that those little moments go quicker than we think!
